Director of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis Ms. Jones graduated with high honors in Human Biology from Emory University and began her career in Assisted Reproduction by working in research with non-human primates at the Yerkes Primate Research Center in Atlanta, Georgia.  Due to her interest in patient care and desire to aid infertile couples, she made the move from research to clinical embryology and has served as an embryologist for over twelve years.  Ms. Jones received a Masters degree with honors from Donau University of Krems in Austria and has worked in labs in the United States, Europe, and Asia.  She continues to enjoy working with patients and in research.  She has won awards for her work in the area of oocyte and ovarian tissue cryopreservation.  She has several publications in journals such as Human Reproduction and Fertility and Sterility and has presented her research at national and international meetings.  She currently serves on the board of the College of Reproductive Biology of the American Association of Bioanalysts.

Ms. Jones’ true specialty lies in the cutting edge technology of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD).  Since 1999, she has served as the director of a Preimplantation Genetics Program and has performed over 500 cases of PGD.  Her skills with embryo biopsy and cell handling are unparalleled, and she is regularly asked to perform the procedure at other in vitro fertilization clinics across the nation.  Being a native of Middle Tennessee, she is happy to have joined Nashville Fertility Center as director of their PGD program.
