In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Nurse

Ms. Faught is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is certified in Limited Obstetrical Ultrasonography (LOBU).  Prior to joining Nashville Fertility Center in November of 2003, she worked as an obstetric nurse on a high- risk antepartum/postpartum unit at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.  She often cared for IVF patients toward the end of their pregnancies, where she gained an interest in the field of infertility.

Ms. Faught completed a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003.  She received an academic traineeship to complete the Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program, and during her studies, she was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  While at the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Faught gained experience in women's health issues through her internships at four Planned Parenthood clinics throughout Pennsylvania and Delaware, as well as two high risk women's clinics in Delaware.  Ms. Faught also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio State University, where she was involved in four honor societies and was awarded the Outstanding Senior Student Award in Adult Health and Illness Nursing.

Ms. Faught's varied experience in women's health, and her patience and enthusiasm for reproductive medicine, give her the ability to provide care to IVF patients on many levels.
