Laurie H. Lee, RN, MSN, APN
In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) Nurse
Donor Embryo Coordinator
Ms.
Lee is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in women’s
healthcare. She received her Master of Science degree in Nursing from
Vanderbilt
University
and while there was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor
Society of Nursing. In addition to this honor, Ms. Lee pursued and
completed a Master of Education degree from the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville. She is also a current member of the National Association of
Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH).
Her
graduate studies have prepared Ms. Lee to serve as a patient care
coordinator and educator at Nashville Fertility Center (NFC). She joined
NFC in February 2005, and has quickly established herself as an efficient
and caring IVF Nurse. Her responsibilities include teaching IVF class,
coordinating patient care during IVF cycles, and managing the Donor Embryo
Program. Prior to joining Nashville Fertility Center in February 2005, she
worked as an independent practitioner at Planned Parenthood, providing
family planning services and healthcare to women of all ages.
Ms.
Lee understands that IVF can be an emotionally and physically stressful
experience. With her personal attention to patients’ needs, she strives to
minimize any distress and maximize patient satisfaction.
