A video fertility consultation makes it easier to get treatment at NFC

The Nashville Fertility Center (NFC) team wants to make it as convenient as possible for patients to get the care they need from us. We know that due to COVID-19, women and men may not be able to make it to our Nashville, Murfreesboro, or Franklin offices.  The good news is you can schedule a video fertility consultation with our team.

What happens during a video fertility consultation?

During a video fertility consultation, you can count on receiving the same care and information that you would receive at an in-person appointment. The only difference is that you don’t have to leave your home or office.

Our Nashville fertility center currently offers these appointments to preoperative surgery patients and patients undergoing consultations that don’t require an ultrasound.

Telemedicine appointments are much like our in-person consultations

Before your video appointment, we would appreciate if either you or your previous doctor would send your medical records to our Nashville fertility center. Your NFC fertility doctor will then review this information before or during your video consultation. This will allow you to make the most of your time together.

During your telemedicine appointment, your doctor will ask about your medical and fertility history, including the results of any previous fertility tests or treatments. He or she will also review any additional diagnostic tests you will need to undergo. Finally, you’ll learn about which fertility treatments are available to you.
