Dr. Christine Whitworth will be retiring at the end of 2021

Nashville Fertility Center has been a second home for Dr. Christine Whitworth for the last three decades. She has cherished her role as a fertility specialist. This position allowed her to help patients overcome many seemingly insurmountable odds to become parents. As a result, Dr. Whitworth has mixed emotions about announcing her retirement.

While the time is right for her, she will very much miss seeing the joy on her patients’ faces when they learn they are expecting. Read on to learn more about Dr. Whitworth’s retirement from our Tennessee fertility center and join us in celebrating her.

Saying goodbye and reflecting on her time at NFC

Dr. Christine Whitworth has “mixed emotions” about her retirement. “I have experienced 30 gratifying and cherished years caring for Nashville Fertility Center (NFC) patients and helping NFC grow into the practice that it is today,” she explains. “I matured as a person and a doctor due to interactions with you, and I will always be grateful for that gift.”

As Dr. Whitworth moves to the next phase of her life, she will keep the memories of her time at our Tennessee fertility center close to her heart.

Dr. Christine Whitworth will support patients until her last day with NFC

December 31, 2021 will be Dr. Whitworth’s last day at our Tennessee fertility center. Until that time, she will meet with her patients to help them transition their care and take their next steps on the path to parenthood.

Being there for her patients in the months leading up to her retirement is important to Dr. Christine Whitworth. “My primary care doctor retired several years ago. However, her retirement happened so suddenly that I did not have an opportunity to meet with her; something I wish had occurred,” she explains.

She hopes that offering opportunities to meet with her by telehealth or in our clinic will help you with this transition.
